Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have broken up and called off their engagement. People reports that the couple split up after five full years of dating, with a source saying, “It was a mutual decision and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”
They were last spotted together in public on August 31.
As a reminder, the pair first sparked dating rumors in March 2020 when they were spotted riding bikes together. Engagement rumors followed them for years, and back in 2023, a source told Us Weekly that 2023 would be “the year they take their relationship to the next level,” adding “Nina and Shaun have been dating for a few years now, so they’ve definitely discussed making things official. They’ve talked about getting married, having kids, the whole nine yards.”
They added, “[They] are so in love and can’t imagine not spending the rest of their lives together” because “what they have is the real deal. Nina has no idea what Shaun has planned up his sleeve.”
They ended up getting engaged in October 2024:
